Hawaii For Adventure or Relaxation?
Are you ready to sky dive or dive into the sand?
You came to the right place if you're looking for adventure. If you're truly seeking adventure - get physical and see the most beautiful views of your life in the best weather you've ever experienced. What will you do? Hike, sky dive, ride horses on the beach, zip-line, see Waimea Canyon on Kauai, swim in the 7 Sacred Pools or bike Haleakala on Maui, see the active volcano on the Big Island, para-sail, sail, snorkel, spearfish, surf, paddle board - tell me when to stop!
Maybe your reality is adventurous enough and you are looking for relaxation. You can find serenity on any of the islands. Choose your accommodations wisely. Consider traffic, restaurant options, stay on the beach or not, etc. The islands are influenced greatly by the Japanese, so you will find stunning temples and botanical gardens that will bring you closer to nature and relieve you of unnecessary stress. That is if hanging in a hammock on the finest beaches isn't your flavor.
A few beaches I like to relax on are: Bellows, Kawela Bay, Chuns, and Ko'Olina (late evenings).
Whichever you choose - adventure, relaxation, or both - do it well.
